In lieu of black history month, I believe it is important for my American people to know that I support reparations for black people. Full disclosure, I cannot promise when or how that will happen. All I know is that American minorities need more allies in order for this beloved nation of ours to begin the path of healing. “Committing yourself to the noble struggle for equal rights. You will make a greater person of yourself, a greater nation of your country, and a finer world to live in.” (MLK Jr.)
Martin Luther King Jr is one of the most inspiring and influential leaders I will forever admire. He is also the kind of leader whose love to make dreams become a reality in making this country a better place, not just for his children, but for all children, is something we all can embody more of. I refuse to stand by while I see his dream for a better nation be threatened by the ignorance that hateful people continue to breed. Please understand that to discriminate only generates hate, and when we hate, then we are bound to get irate. And when we become irate, madness is what we demonstrate. That is exactly how anger works and operates. In order to get set straight, we have to take control of our minds and meditate (or pray) and let our souls gravitate to the love, so the whole world can celebrate it.
I see and hear many people either on the verge of giving up hope for a better nation, or have given up hope entirely, and I say to you this… PLEASE DON’T. “If you lose hope, somehow you lose the vitality that keeps life moving, you lose that courage to be, that quality that helps you to go on in spite of all. And so today, I still have a dream.” (MLK Jr).
Please join in the movement in making America epic by supporting the independent presidential candidate that I am! Any little bit helps, thank you.
