If you are looking to become president of the United States and you are new to public speaking. May I suggest going to comedy shows and taking notes. Perhaps try open mic night at Lady HAHA Comedy at The Rock in Tucson, Arizona.Every time I get on the stage, I learn something new about myself. Information that is only going to make me stronger for the next time. Recently, I realized that even though I am a strong, independent woman that doesn’t mind talking about my past traumas and struggles on or off the stage. I am a strong, independent woman who is actively healing and when I open up about my past traumas and struggles, there will be times I shed some tears… for the whole world to see (an experience I never thought about experiencing).The first time I mentioned to a group of strangers of going through abuse, my hand started to shake, then my voice followed suit, the tears shouting, “let me out!” As my eyes started to water, I pushed forward with my speech talking about how broken our country is thanks to the people who support the corrupt two-party system and how we can fix it. The truth is, we are in an abusive relationship with the failing two-party system, and it shows based upon how the republican and democratic supporters treat each other and how they treat others who don’t support their failing two-party system. We can no longer allow our loyalty to make us and the people around us slaves to the point we compromise our self-respect.
How do we fix the problem? When the problem is both the Republican party and the Democrat party working harder more so for themselves than the American people, then it makes sense to either support and vote for an independent like myself or to run for office yourself. We need to put an end to corrupt party politics that have been abusing their position of power to the point that this strong, independent woman who is actively healing like the majority of the American people,is no longer going to take the abuse. I know my independent people are ready for the journey towards a better America… we need the rest of the American people to follow suit.
